Every time a bike lane is created, an angel gets its wings. I hope there’s a Sylmar angel beaming because bike lanes were recently added along Polk Street.
B.I.K.A.S. reports that new Polk Street lanes run from Glenoaks Boulevard to San Fernando Road and were added on May 13. In addition, new lanes were striped on Laurel Canyon and Rinaldi.
Glad to see the city is looking out for cyclists’ safety. Wear your helmets, people!
