El Cariso Park Meeting Tonight

There  has been some controversy over the proposed improvement project at El Cariso Park. The $10 million effort involves a new community center, but it also means cutting over 50 eucalyptus trees to make room for synthetic turf soccer fields.

The project has drawn both enthusiasm and criticism; get more details about the changes and voice your concerns at the community meeting. The discussion takes place tonight, 7 p.m., at the Los Angeles Mission College Campus Center.
