Food Truck Feast: Special Football Celebration Event

The weekly food truck night at the San Fernando Mall is holding a special event to honor the 2012 football champs from San Fernando High School.

On Thursday, Jan. 31, 5 p.m.-9 p.m., the block between Brand Blvd. and Maclay Ave. will be closed, and Mayor Antonio Lopez will be there to recognize the team. The celebration will also feature the drill team and marching band from San Fernando High School.

I’ll have a booth set up in case you want to chat up your local blogger. I’ll also be selling women’s tanks, so bring cash if you’re interested in purchasing.

As always, food trucks will be parked along the street, so come ready for dinner. The following trucks are expected to be there:

Churro Man
Crepen Around
Good Greek Grub
Germany’s Favorite Bratwurst
Oooh La La Crepes
Patty Wagon
Papa Juan Seafood
Prime Time
Rolling Rib BBQ
Romolo’s Italian
Stop Guac n Roll
Street Kitchen
Tornado Potato

Also, the Kiwanis, the Mall Association, the Boys and Girls Club, and the San Fernando High School Alumni Program will be there to offer more information about their respective community organizations.
