Turkey Meets Pacoima in an International Mural Exchange

A new mural went up earlier this month and added international appeal to Pacoima’s Mural Mile. According to the Daily News, artists Mete Yimben (“Esk Reyn”) and Can Berk (“Wicx”) traveled from Istanbul, Turkey, as part of a street artist exchange.

Local muralists Kristy Sandoval and Levi Ponce just made their way back from Turkey after participating in the 2015 Mural Istanbul Festival, and now Wicx and Esk have made their L.A. contribution with “Analog-Digital”.

The new wall art went up at Myke’s Cafe next to “Mi Vida, Mi Cultura,” the 2014 mural completed by Sandoval and Rah Azul.

All of the muralists focused on the theme “Being Human/Human Being.” For photos and the full story, visit DailyNews.com.
