San Fernando Brewing Company to Celebrate Grand Opening

I recently wrote about the long overdue dream that became reality: a brewery in the city of San Fernando.

Well, on Friday, Aug. 28, the San Fernando Brewing Company will celebrate their grand opening and locals will officially be able to claim the brewery. All of their beers will be available (while supplies last): Stoney Point Stout, Sonora Wheat, Wolfskill IPA, Royal Road Pale Ale, and O’Melveny Red Ale. The first 500 customers will be greeted will a free branded bottle opener.

The ribbon-cutting happens at 11:30 a.m. (hey, it’s 5 p.m. somewhere, right?), with ongoing festivities (DJ and games) from noon to 10 p.m.

The San Fernando Brewing Company is located at 425 Park Ave. in (wait for it…) the ciTAY of San Fernando!

i am san fernando is April Aguirre, a writer born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. April bounced around the Valley throughout her upbringing and lived outside of California for a quick minute but always felt most at home in the city of San Fernando. To get at April's heart, FedEx puppies to her door, offer In-N-Out cheeseburgers by the dozen or introduce her to a beer tastier than the last.
