Guess Who’s Back in the Mother-Bleepin’ House

Your local blogger viewing the not so local in Tulum, Mexico.

Excuse my language, but this is the longest I’ve gone without contacting you, my silent lovers. I know I haven’t written, but, believe me, I thought of you all as I toured the Maya Riviera and dipped my toes in sinkholes. I even snapped a couple of pics in my i am sf tank to show you that your heat wave suffering was not in vain; San Fernando was always on my mind.

Based on the texts and emails I’ve received, it looks like I missed a thing or two while I was out of town. Fret not — I’ll be posting updates soon of “Sons of Anarachy” actors shopping for quinceañera dresses and the like.

In the meantime, check out yours truly along the southeastern coast of Mexico (above) and in front Pyramid El Castillo in Tulum (below).

i am san fernando is April Aguirre, a writer born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. April bounced around the Valley throughout her upbringing and lived outside of California for a quick minute but always felt most at home in the city of San Fernando. To get at April's heart, FedEx puppies to her door, offer In-N-Out cheeseburgers by the dozen or introduce her to a beer tastier than the last.
